Founded in 1865 domaine Tortochot currently farms 11 hectares of vines in 3 appellations, with most of the vineyards acquired by Gabriel Tortochot in the early 20th century.
Most of the wines in the past were sold to Maison Joseph Drouhin, but with the arrival of Chantal Tortochot in1997 the domaine started to bottle all its wines. In 2013 the domaine finalized conversion to organic viticulture and is now ECO Certified.
Chambolle Musigny 1er cru Les Sentiers
Since 2014 this parcel of 0.07ha is farmed by the domaine. Standing on the hard limestone from the Jurassic period, producing delicate, mineral and elegant wines, with good aromatic complexity.
25% whole cluster, cold macerated and fermented with indigenous yeast. It's aged for 12 months in 25% new French oak.
