Jacky Blot is a revolutionary figure in Montlouis. His wines at Domaine de la Taille aux Loups have become a benchmark for dry Chenin Blancs.
Even though Blot owns vines in both Bretonniere and Venise, two of Vouvray’s finest terroirs, he is not permitted to bottle his wines from there as Vouvray, and must instead label them Vin de France. Blot was the first in Montlouis, in 1993, to make pet-nat, leading eventually to the appellation Montlouis Pétillant Originel in 2007.
Triple Zero is a pétillant naturel from 40 to 80-year-old vines of Chenin Blanc with zero chapitalization, zero liqueur de tirage, and zero dosage. Aged 24 months on the lees. Certified Organic.
