Champagne Egly-Ouriet was founded after the Second World War when Francis Egly's grandfather started making wine with 3 hectares of vines in the Grand Cru Ambonnay.
Egly Ouriet Grand Cru Extra Brut (base 2016)
A blend of 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay with the fruit sourced from 90% Ambonnay Grand Cru, 10% Bouzy Grand Cru and Verzenay Grand Cru.
Blended from 50% 2016, 30% 2015, 20% 2014
Fermented in barrels with indigenous yeast, and aged on its lees, in 10% new oak barrels for 48 months. The malolactic is blocked. Dosage: 1g/L
