Only 1 barrel produced from a single vineyard of Chenin Blanc bush vines planted over 40 years ago, that was abandoned after 15 years, when the yields were too low to make it profitable.
The low yields that are so precious for Peter, were not attractive for industrial scale cooperatives in the area.
The vines during this dormant period were never pruned or irrigated, and grew naturally without any human intervention.
After 25 years without any production, the vineyard could start-over "Oorbegin"
