100% Chenin Blanc (Dry)
These parcels of Savennières Roche aux Moines, has its origin going back to the Middle Ages, and were a former possession of the Abbey Saint-Nicolas of Angers. It’s located on a rocky spur which advances on the Loire near Savennières ensuring the parcel an ideal sun exposure.
The average age of the vines is 25 years, and yields 35hl/ha.
The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled vats and does not complete malolactic fermentation.
Maturation is done for 12 months on 15% new French oak barrels on its lees with 4 months of lees stirring, plus 6 months in large vats.
Certified organic and biodynamic.
