Single vineyard in Malmesbury region. The vineyard was planted in 1987, all bush vines and dryland farmed. Since 2009 organic farmed methods are used, with no chemicals sprayed on the vines and soils. Soils are mostly decomposed granite and Fericrete, which is quite rich in iron components. Vineyards are planted on south-east facing slopes.
Vinification 100% whole cluster fermentation for about 2 weeks and it spends 1 week post ferment on the skins and stems. Aged for 7 months in stainless Steel tanks, NO oak. No filter, no finning.
