The Antinori family has been committed to the art of winemaking for over six centuries since 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member, of the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild. For 26 generation the family has managed the business directly.
The winery was designed for gravity flow vinification and to guarantee ideal climatic conditions for wine production and aging by using completely natural elements.
Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG
The grapes were destemmed and gently crushed then fermented in temperature comtrolled stainless steel vats. Maceration on the skins lasted for a period of approximately 12-15 days. The wines were blended and matured in large oak barrels and a small percentage in barriques (Hungarian and French oak). The wine was bottled in July 2020.
Made from mainly Sangiovese with a small percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon.
