Since 2015 the wines produced by Achille Boroli are tasted and tuned by Luca Gardini, the best Sommelier in the World in 2010.
Barolo: a blend of 6 vineyards all in Castiglione Falletto, 50% sourced from Single vineyards in the heart of the Barolo appellation. South-west, west and east exposure. Planted in a clay, sandy limestone and blue marl soils.
100% Nebbiolo fully destemmed, fermented in steel tanks for 10-12 days, and macerated for 18-20 days followed by malolactic. The wine is matured in large wooden casks 1500-2500L) for 18 months, and a year in bottle before release.
