Richard created his domain in 2007, taking on established vines aged between 40 and 80 years. His driving passion is the chance to experiment with innovative organic viticulture.
The Gamay from the Moulin a Vent is farmed in a 5ha parcel of 40-80 years old vines, sitting in a granite with manganese veins soil.
The grapes are kept with 50% whole cluster, and do half semi-carbonic maceration, followed by fermentation in concrete tanks. Matured 30% in used oak barrels (4-5years), and 70% in concrete tanks for 6 months.
