In the 19th century this domaine comprised the southern part of the original 100-ha Duvault-Blochet estate. In 1964 it was bought by Louis Seysses, Jean Ferte and Gerard Potel, who was invited to take charge of winemaking and management. Potel improved the quality and reputation of the wines from the domaine. In the end of the 80's the domaine was owned 50% by Potel and 50% by a group of Australian investors.
The actual owner Patrick Landanger bought in 1997 both shares of the domaine, 50% from the Australian group and 50% from the Potel family which was estimulated to sell, due to the death of Gerard.
The vineyards are grown organically and certified biodynamic by DEMETER since 2018.
