Founded in 1988 by the former pastry chef Dominique Laurent, the Maison that bear his name started because Dominique was too often disappointed with the wines that he was tasting in the region, and decided to make his own. With the evolution of his Maison, Dominique also started producing his own barrels with oak from the Troncais forest which he dries from 3-7 years to produce his own barrels, that are used in the fermentation and elevage of all his wines.
All the wines produced are negociant bottlings and the wines vary in style depending on which grower did the vinification, the common ground of Dominique Laurent wine’s are the oak barrels.
