Chateau Cissac is a family owned Estate located in the Haut Medoc bordering the Saint Estephe and Pauillac appellations, and has been in the Vialard family for 5 generations

Today the vineyards are managed by Marie Vialard, a direct descendant of Jacques Mondon who bought the estate in 1895, and Louis Vialard, who restored it to its former glory in the middle of the 20th century.

The Chateau originally dates back to 1769 and it was built over a Roman Villa. It's history can be traced to a merge between Chateau Martiny and Chateau Abiet, and combined by the Vialard family.

Currently the Chateau farms around 65 hectares in a rare single parcel with an average age of vines of 33 years. With 70% planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot and 8% Petit Verdot.

The wines are fermented in a mix of large wooden vats and stainless steel, and aged in 30% new oak.

The 2010 vintage is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, and 8% Petit Verdot
