Joseph Roty, one of the largest landowners from Gevrey Chambertin and Marsannay. everything is destemmed, new oak is relatively high, around 50% on the village wines, 60-70% on the Lieux-Dit and 100% on the Grand Cru.
This plot was designated as village Gevrey until 1964 when boundary changes saw it declassified. Philippe Roty noted that there was a thirty year grace period for those whose vines were downgraded, so until 1994, many vignerons with vines in Pressoniers continued to sell the wine as Gevrey AC.
