Douhairet Porcheret Monthelie 1er cru Le Meix Bataille, 2019, 750ML

The domaine that is run today by Monthelie and Douhairet families was created over 300 years ago, and farms 13 hectares mostly in the Cote de Beaune.

Run since 2014 by Vincent and Cataldina the new generation, the domaine has a HVE (High Environmental Value) level 3 certification for its vineyards.

Monthelie 1er cru Le Meix Bataille

In the Middle Ages, le Meix referred to a set of buildings located within a large agricultural holding, and in this case belonged to the Bataille family who at the time was in the parliament of Burgundy.

100% Pinot Noir

Made from a 0.41 ha parcel of 70 years old vines, hand harvested, 100% destemmed and non crushed, fermented in stainless steel vats and matured in 228L oak barrels for 18 months, 10% new.
