Tasting Note
The Wine Advocate 93, Lisa Perrotti-Brown
Kept for eight years on the lees, the 2005 Richard G. Peterson Brut Rose has a very pale salmon-pink color. It delivers fragrant notes of dried roses, cranberries and toasted almonds with hints of brioche, honeycomb and wet pebbles. Very finely crafted, fresh and elegant in the mouth, it soars with intense red berry preserves and toasty flavors, finishing on a lingering mineral note. Impressive! Drink Date: 2020 - 2026
Vinous 94, Antonio Galloni
The 2005 Brut Rose Richard G. Peterson is terrific, and the best version of this wine I have tasted. Ample and creamy on the palate, with gorgeous Pinot resonance, the 2005 delivers striking depth. Crushed rose petals, sweet red berries, flowers and baked apples meld into the voluptuous, inviting finish. This is a fabulous showing from Richard Peterson.
