The Cerequio Cru – The Elegance of Barolo
Cerequio is one of the most esteemed vineyards in La Morra, located in the extraordinary microclimate known as “Riviera delle Langhe”. Its well-exposed site benefits from constant ventilation, promoting healthy grapes. The sandy, clay-rich soil retains moisture, ensuring consistent wine quality. The Villero Cru - The Aristocracy of Barolo
Villero is a historic first-category cru vineyard in Castiglione Falletto. Its deep (1 meter) marly-clay-silty soil retains moisture and features layers of silt, plant residues, shells, and fossils, with an average vine age of 35-40 years. This unique composition imparts robust structure, well-integrated tannins, and distinctive mineral and aromatic complexity to Barolo Villero, resulting in a wine with exceptional longevity and perfect balance.
