Domaine de Bellene and Roche de Bellene (negociant) were established by Nicolas Potel in 2005, following the sale of his negociant operation Maison Nicolas Potel in 2004 to Cottin Freres (also owner of Laboure-Roi).
Currently Domaine de Bellene leases 24 hectares of vineyards situated in Beaune, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Saint-Romain, Santenay, Volnay and Vosne-Romanee.
In the cellar the domaine has very modern equipments but a hands off approach and no additives used.

100% Chardonnay
A south-eastern facing single parcel of 0.49ha.
Vineyard planted in 1977 with clay-limestone soil. Aged in second and third use French oak barrel on thin lees in 600-litre-barrels during 12 months. Bottling without fining and filtration.
