The Marnier Lapostolle family, founders of the liqueur Grand Marnier, created Casa Lapostolle in 1994 with the ambition to create world-class wines by combining the superb terroir of Chile with their French winemaking philosophy.
The second wine of Clos Apalta, Le Petit Clos is a different interpretation of the Clos Apalta terroir, with less Carmenere and more Cabernet Sauvignon on the blend, producing a softer and earlier approachable wine.

Maceration time, 4-5 weeks with manual punch down. Fermentation is made 100% in 75hL French oak vats. Malolactic in new French oak barrels.
The wine ages for 6 months in new French oak barrels. Then another 16 months in 21% new French oak barrels, 79% in second use.
