Dominio de Pingus is a small winery in Ribera del Duero founded by the Danish winemaker Peter Sisseck. The wines are made from 100% Tempranillo divided in several small parcels of old vines in various locations that produce very low yields, resulting in a minute quantity of wine. Around 5 hectares of vines are grown organically and biodynamically since 2001.
Pingus is fermented in 2000L wooden vats with indigenous yeast, and aged in French oak barriques for 22 months.
