Equal parts of old-vine Grenache from sandy soils (in Lirac) and stony soils (in Chateauneuf du Pape) were co-fermented to produce this unique cuvee.
La Genese was fermented and aged in a large Cocciopesto* vessel, called the Drunk Turtle.
(Cocciopesto is obtained with the blend of stone fragments, crushed clay, sand and cement binder)
Organic & Biodynamic
It's a full-bodied, concentrated effort, with bold black cherry fruit, an expansive mouthfeel and silky tannins.
Formerly known as la Creation and renamed for legal reasons.
