Pommard "Cuvee Suzanne Chaudron"

100% Pinot Noir. Made from a majority of vines coming from the south exposed lieux dits Les Petit Noizons on top of the hill, followed by a considerable parcel of the 1er Cru La Chaniere that brings the structure and concentration to the wine. The remainder of the blend is composed by the lieux dits La Croix Planet, Rue au Porc, and Le Poisot, all located in the plateau without considerable elevation.

When the couple Raymond Cyrot and Suzanne Chaudron left vineyards to the Hospices de Beaune in 1979, the gift included several plots of very ancient vines. Over 40% was planted prior to 1959, with the oldest block dating from 1910.

Elevage made by domaine Coche Dury at their cellars in Meursault. The wine was aged in 25% new French oak from 18 to 22 months, and was bottled without fining or filtration.
