Malescot St. Exupery Margaux, 2015, 750ML

The history of this 3rd Growth chateau can be traced back to the 18th century, however the most important changes were made at the property by the current owner the Zuger family who bought the property in 1955.

Among the changes 80% of the vineyards were replanted in 1967 with better planting material, and plot by plot vinification were adopted in order to produce a more refined and elegant wine.

Malescot-St-Exupéry's wine is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot - it is matured in oak barriques, 80% of which are new, for 16 months and is bottled unfiltered.
