100% Pinot Noir from a single parcel of 0.25ha planted in black and red basalt soils in the Eola Amity Hills - AVA.
100% destemmed, and the extraction is light like an infusion, with cold maceration and fermented with indigenous yeast. Matured for 12-15 months in up to 50% new French Burgundian oak.
The nose shows elegant hibiscus and graceful rose petal and rosehip aromas with a hint of root cola and raspberry seeds. The flavors are polished and are indicative of blueberry preserves, bright red cherry, and brilliantly ripe plums. There is also a seamless stone characteristic that is both firm and silky.
